  3. Dear Beryl and family, I first met Jeff some 41 years ago when I joined the staff of the then City of South Barwon, I soon found out that he was a great fellow and an excellent Councillor. Jeff and yourself sincerely welcomed my late wife, Marj and I into the South Barwon group where we all enjoyed many happy times. Today whilst watching Jeff’s funeral stream, I experienced a truly wonderful appreciation of his long life with his many achievements in his work, community service and above all his deep love for you and your family. His outstanding life on this earth will long be fondly remembered by huge numbers of his fellow human beings. Jeff Rest In Peace ……… Barry

  14. Condolences to aunt Bess and all the family on the passing of uncle Jeff. A long and distinguished career as an educator and mentor to many. Amazing linguistic skills and command of the English language either factual or while spinning a Furphy. A teller of wonderful family story's of times gone by, always delivered in a captivating humorous manner with a straight face and nearly always ending in a laugh at someones expense. An avid collector, restorer and admirer of historical machinery and a true and loyal family man who was much respected by all the cousins. Jeff was an outstanding gentleman and a bloody good all round bloke respected and much loved by us all. I Still recall ... "Now Rodney you little shit"...." Who's your favorite Uncle". Yeah he had a way with words. Much love and respect.
