  5. Always regarded you as my little brother .
You had the most immediate sense of humour, & would always have a joke (complete with every accent from anywhere around the world), every time you called in to the Marshall Mansion for a coffee .
I will miss your happy face every day .
Your brother from another mother .

  6. Mick you have always been and will remain my best mate. I will miss you heaps.
You walked into bluey's muffler shop nearly 30 years ago and we have been mates ever since. We shared so many family camp trips that we could write a book. Especially the Murray when our boat overturned. We still laugh our heads off remembering that one. 🤣 The many truck runs we did... I can still hear you saying "are we there yet? are we there yet ? " ....why's that Mick?? "I'm starving !" And boy you could eat.....and piss stop after piss stop I can't even begin to count. You were the best mate to have along. Our truck convoy along the Simpson Desert when you took the steering wheel you looked like a little kid with a Tonka toy 🤣 boy you made me laugh. I will miss you just turning up and we would hang around in the garage doing something or even nothing at all just a coffee a smoke and a chat.
Now that you are gone I have no one to annoy me and do those things with. Will miss you maaaaate more than you know.
P.S. make sure you find us a good camp spot up there. Love you and R.I.P until we meet again. Bluey

  7. Mick, from the first day that we met I felt a connection as if we'd known each other before. The friendship didn't take long at all to become one of the closest outside of family I've ever known. You treated me like I was part of your family and I you. Sophie and I always felt welcome when you and Dori had a family get together and over the years you came to some of ours. I only had to mention that something was in need of fixing and you offered your help at the drop of a hat. Our kids loved your sense of humour as you would always make time to chat with them. So many memories mate, I'll cherish them always. Until we meet again my friend have a great rest now free from pain and worries. Bob and Sophie xxoo

  9. Hey Mick ,
I thought you were only joking when you said that you would win our race to the pearly gates .
That was ok . But you did not tell me when the race was starting 🤔
I never was a good runner anyway , but I am sure going to miss you and your funny jokes .
Just keep a spot for me up there aye ?
And next time we play poker , I’ll let you stack the deck instead of me 😂😂😂
Hope to see you soon in the promised land .
Joe (your Brother in law )
    Cheers 👍

  14. How do we put 40 years of friendship in a few words. The knowledge, the wisdom, the jokes, the accents during said jokes, the always smiling face always ready to help when he could and give you the shirt of his back if needed. A true gentleman, a real mate who will be missed more than any words can say.
    "In Gods care"
Our deepest sympathy to Dori, Paul, Alana, Elise, Jake and all the family.
