  2. Reg - we joined the job as Junior Police Trainees, (JPT'S on 2nd February 1960. Your unique abilities as a sportsman were on display when you were in the JPT's. Our paths did not cross again for many years until you came to my home town Anglesea, where we renewed our friendship. It was great to live in a town where Reg was the Sergeant. We shared many a beer and story at the local pub over the years. Sorry to see you go when there was still plenty of living to do.

  4. Love you Dad. Sad we didn’t get to spend much time together as I was growing up but guess we made up for it down the track. You inspired me to join NSW Police Force & so glad I did as I met my Pete.
Will miss you. Promise we’ll all look after our mum Lolly. Enjoy your next journey Dad.

  7. RAK Reginald Arthur KENT. You were one of a kind. You loved all around you. You were loyal to those in need. A great wit and humor . A great boss to work under and with. We had lots a laughs and great times with you when the summer relievers came to town. How we loved working winter on the coast, the stories and quiet chats. You helped me thru difficult times and supported and encouraged my career change. You were an outstanding member of Victoria Police. Bunnings Waurn Ponds was not the same when you left. To Lol and all the family our thoughts are with you. RIP old mate.
