Tributes

  1. Dear Brian and family. I was so sad to hear of Bet's death. Len rang from Hanover a few weeks ago to say that she was not well. I am so pleased that Len was able to arrange for the recording of Panis Angelicus to be available for you. I'm sure it helped to add to the lovely tribute you had already planned. If things had been normal, Gerry and I would have loved to have represented Len and Trudy today. I trust that your many happy memories of Bet will be a great comfort to you . With Kind regards, Nancy & Gerry Donovan.

  3. Remembering some wonderful years with Betty and Brian, known affectionaly known as "Whiskies Grandad and Grandma" by our children, Morgan, Finn and Gill. Loved our days at Peregian Beach, walking on the beach, climbing Mount Coolum, visiting Uncle Keith and Auntie Joyce, pottering around in their beautiful native garden and of course playing lawn bowls. She could lift the whole atmosphere on the green with that contagious laugh of hers!
When they moved to Drysdale, we had some lovely outings to the local sights and invariably lunch at the club. Betty and Brian always welcomed us and we would talk for hours. I always felt I could turn to Betty for sound advice when rearing the children and see the fun and good times in all situations.
Every time a memorable event would happen with the boys, an award or sporting achievement, Betty's pride and enthusiasm would overflow.
We are going to miss you Whiskies Grandma. Love, Robyn and 'The Boys'
