On the 1st of August 2025, our beautiful mum, Barbara Mitchell, left this world, leaving behind a space in our hearts that can never be filled.
Mum was so much more than a mother — she was our safe place, our teacher, our biggest supporter, and our constant source of love. She had a strength that inspired us and a kindness that touched everyone who knew her. Her laughter could light up a room, her hugs could fix almost anything, and her wisdom was always given with care and patience.
She lived her life with courage, grace, and a quiet determination. She faced challenges with resilience and celebrated joys with a full heart. Mum found happiness in the simple things — a warm cuppa, a family gathering, a chat with friends, and the sound of laughter around her table.
We’ll forever cherish the memories, the holidays, the Sunday dinners, the moments of advice (whether we asked for it or not), and the unconditional love she gave without hesitation.
Although we wish for one more hug, one more conversation, one more day, we know she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who went before her. Her love, her values, and her spirit will live on through us.
Mum, thank you for everything you gave us — your love, your time, your wisdom, your example. We will carry you in our hearts always. You may be gone from our sight, but never from our souls.
Rest peacefully, Mum. We love you beyond words

She was more than just a grandma to me—she was a guiding light, a safe place, and one of the kindest souls I've ever known.
I miss her more than words can say. I just love her so deeply. But I take comfort in knowing that she’s at peace now, and I truly hope she is somewhere beautiful—happy, free, and surrounded by everything her heart ever desired.
Not only was she the best grandma, but she was also a devoted, exceptional mother and wife. Her love stretched far and wide, and she will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

My Mother was a woman like no other. She gave me life, nurtured me, taught me, dressed me, fought for me, held me, shouted at me, kissed me, but most importantly she loved me
unconditionally. There are not enough words to describe just how important my Mother is to me and what a powerful influence she continues to be.
I am who I am today because of her strength, her patience, her wisdom, and her unwavering love. She has been my guiding light through every storm, my biggest cheerleader in every success, and my comfort in every sorrow. Her sacrifices often went unnoticed, but they built the foundation of my life. She worked tirelessly to ensure I had everything I needed, even if it meant going without herself. Her love was never loud, but it was always constant—showing up in the little things, in the quiet moments, and in the way she never gave up on me.
Even now, as I navigate life, I hear her voice in my head guiding me, reminding me of who I am and where I come from. Her values, her courage, and her kindness live on in everything I do.
There will never be another like her. She is, and always will be, my hero—my mother Barbara Ann Mitchell.
We will miss you and always cherish our memories love always and forever, until we meet again.
