Youngest of nine children to William & Mary Steen (both dec).
Dearly loved husband of 62 years to Bev.
Adored dad and father-in-law of Debbie & Mark, Leanne & Craig, Trudi & Darrel, Fiona & Matt.
Treasured Pa to 12 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren.
How lucky we are to have had such a special person that makes saying goodbye so hard.
Resting peacefully now.

Get directionsFamily and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Mr Kevin James Steen to be held at our Chapel, cnr High St & Murradoc Rd, Drysdale on THURSDAY (February 19, 2026) commencing at 10.30am, followed by Burial at the Drysdale Cemetery.

My sincere condolences and love to you all. Kev and Bev opened their arms and embraced our family when Leanne and Grant got married and haven’t let go of that through many changes. I know Bev and Roger Fin will be seeking out Kev’s company out there and surrounding you with love Bev as you grieve your loss. Kev touched my heart as a loving father to Leanne, FIL to Grant, and dear Pa to my nieces and a cheeky grin and warm hug whenever we met. A beautiful man sadly missed. My beautiful Pa. I think you may have been the only person to always be able to make me smile no matter what. Thinking of all the memories I’m so lucky to have with you and the amazing family you created. I hope you are comfortable and warm wherever you are now. He was so much more than a neighbor, a home where I spent many hours as a child, master of ceremonies at my 21st and wedding
Kevin and Bev were at many of our family's special moments
Always a smile, kiss and cuddle when we caught up, he always made me feel special
My world is a sadder place following the passing of Kevin

I will forever remember the times I spent with my Pa, and hold onto every memory I have with him. He never failed to make me smile when I saw him. His love for his wife - my Nan, his daughters, my cousins and everyone else in our family is what I hope I can continue in his name. A simple man with a big heart. I’ll miss him forever but am grateful he is at peace and went knowing he is so so loved.

My sincerest condolences to my long time friend Fiona, thinking of you and your family. Have got you all in my thoughts. It was pleasure to say he was one of the best!! Always had time for me.
