Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at University Hospital on February 12, 2022.

Aged 78 years.

Loving husband of Lynette.  Loved father of Jayson & Aaron.  Cherished father in law of Emma, and loved by Stephen & Luca.

Adored “Grampsy” of Sullivan.

Funeral Notice

Service: Thursday February 24, 2022


Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service for Mr Hunter 'John' McNaughton to be held at our Chapel, cnr High St & Murradoc Rd, Drysdale on THURSDAY (Feb 24, 2022)            at 1.30pm, followed by Burial at the Drysdale Cemetery.

COVID restrictions apply.

John's service will be Livestreamed through our website.

  2. Always honest, always patient, always kind, always ready to give short and insightful information and most of all wonderfully cheeky. Now I wish we hadn’t postponed the fishing trips we planned… but dear John now you are fishing in the best fishing spots of all. I can feel your love, your goodness, you have been one of the most considerate men I have met. Thank you for all the fun times we had together (extra so in Bangkok).
