Tributes

  1. Our love is with Jurgen and the family on the sad loss of Judy.
My connection to Judy spans half a century. We shared a passion for social justice particularly relating to people living with disability.
In the 90's we went to Melbourne University together and shared some great times. I have valued Judy's friendship, intellect, compassion and bubbling personality.
Thank you Judy, you will be missed

  3. Firstly, our heartfelt condolences to Jurgen and the family. Our loving thoughts are with you all at this devastating time. As a fellow Kindergarten teacher, I met Judy some 35 years ago when I was supervising early childhood students undertaking a Degree course. We quickly became friends and involved in other ECE projects and research groups. We taught alongside each other in various TAFE colleges and a private Nanny school, never losing contact with each other. Judy was a true visionary and advocate for all people regardless of any differences. Her personal strength and resilience never ceased to amaze me. The quick wit, the bright clothing, the determination and versatility were always obvious. To witness and share in Judy's professional and personal journey for so many years was an absolute privilege. So sad to see her robbed of many more retirement years with dearest Jurgen. The many photos I have will be most precious. We always loved those lunches and dinners together. She did relish any celebrations !!
May Judy rest in peace and know that she has left us with a legacy of remembered joy. Thank you for the love, treasured collegiality and friendship.
With our deepest sympathies from Simon and Cheryl Payne xx🫶😍😍🌷🌺
