Very surprised and saddened to hear of John's passing. John, Christine and I travelled together for many years around the Castlemaine and Bendigo areas, sharing our common interest, very much enjoying each other's company. John was funny and quick witted and he very much enjoyed sharing good stories of his past adventures with anyone who would listen! When John moved to St Leonards his absence was felt, he was missed. The last time I saw John was at Christine's funeral but I knew he was very happy to be with his lifelong love, Lorraine. May John rest in peace and not cause too much disruption in Heaven.
