  3. Dearest Uncle Wally.
My memories of you from when I was so tiny are so many, you were often there in Ash Rd.,which was. A hub for the Chapman,s and many others.Auntie Ena I was allowed to hold Terry from birth, then Susan. Later You held my own son all afternoon at Tony and Hazels wedding. Just before you all four emigrated. Years passed, and we John Iain Robin and I emigrated to NZ where you came to spend Christmas with us. Later years John and I visited you at St Leonard, there as I got out of the car was Uncle Wally arms wide open swinging me round and round in welcome. My beloved Uncle ..Love you Maureen xx

  9. Uncle Wally was a GREAT INSPIRATION, to the CHAPMAN FAMILY.
With wonderful memories of our times together in England. Then with my wife Janet on our visits with him and the family in Australia.
Whilst there we observed. He was always ready to help anyone in need.
He also enjoyed volunteering over the years, on many local projects and events.
He will be dearly missed by us all.
We send our love to you Auntie Ena and the family.
