Passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2023. Aged 84 years.
Dearly loved husband of Gerda. Loving Father and Father in law of Johanna & Paul, Peter & Lisa.
Cherished Poppy of Cameron & Alyssa, Daniel & Leah, Monique & Kalpa; Jessie & Will, Abby & Ben, and Gemma. Opa of Isobel & Harry.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Charlie Christiaans to be held at our Chapel, cnr High St & Murradoc Rd, Drysdale on THURSDAY (8th June, 2023) commencing at 11am.
Private Cremation

I only knew Charlie for just under 2 1/2 years, but he had a profound effect on my life and changed my world forever thanks to his gift as a tutor to me in guitar making. Although we butted heads occasionally it was always in fun and remained friends with great respect for each other. I will always remember those years fondly. RIP Charlie. Deepest sympathy to Charlie’s family at this difficult time.

Charlie, former President and highly respected member of the Bellarine Woodworkers, will be sadly missed. He willingly passed on his knowledge and expertise to other Woodies and will be remembered for his dedication to the Club. Rest peacefully, Charlie.

Truly adored loved Dad, Pop and Opa our Hero
Charlie, Dad, Poppy and Opa, was a man of extreme dignity, integrity, grace, devotion for his family he had courage, resilience and a fortitude of spirit, and the embodiment of all these qualities was love.
To those who had the good fortune of meeting Charlie and knowing the life that he lived, even if it was for a brief moment in time or a lifetime of friendship no one could deny the absolute joy and value he brought to everyone and every situation. A gentle man kind and filled with an abundance of artistic expression, he poured his gifts into every project which brought so much joy to all lucky enough to receive one of his treasured pieces.
He had a life well lived, bringing joy, laughter and incredible memories that will not only last for our immediate family, but will on for generations to come 💕💕
Rest in peace 🙏 you have earned your angel wings. You will forever live on in all of us. We love you so much and will miss you everyday.
