Pete was one of a kind.
When Bernie joined our family, we were welcomed by Liz & Hommy like we were one of them.
We loved the laughs, the horse racing tips, the Christmas lunches (especially the pork crackling) and the big heart that was Pete.
Our love to Liz, Bernie, Beaker, Jake, Bailey, Maz, Mahli, Ebony and the Hommelhoff family.

Rest in peace, Hommy. I’ll miss our long chats down at the club and your constant support and friendship. Remembering all the good times we had and the golf we played together. And getting me into my first night club probably when I might have been a tad young lol

Hommy, a friendly face every time, always asked after mum and had time for a chat about North Central footy and the people that connected us. Gone too soon. Certainly missed. Condolences to family and colleagues.

Peter was such a likeable, great character and fond memories of the good old days in Wyche. Our thoughts are with Liz and family,Matt, Shara and Marnie and families. My apologies that I am unable to attend Peter’s funeral. I’m sure he will have a great “send-off” which he truly deserves.

Peter had a way of making people feel comfortable, of bringing light into a room,without even trying, whether it be his humour,his kindness,or just his presence, he left an impression on everyone who knew him.

So many years of friendship then onto many years as my boss at the butchers, we had so many awesome memories along the way. You always treated me and looked after me like one of your own you even taught me to make sausages and tie them. You are going to be truly missed by myself and many more.

To my step dad, Pete (Poppy Pete)
A man with a big heart, a gentle soul, and had an unwavering love for his family. To Mahli and Ebony, you were simply Poppy Pete, and that title meant the world.
Thank you for the laughs, the stories, the cuddles, and the love you gave so freely. Most importantly, thank you for always loving and standing by Mum. Your loyalty, and presence meant more than words can say.You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
