Tributes

  1. To all of Helen’s Beautiful family, my very deepest and sympathy. Dear Helen was a very much loved friend for over 40 years and she will be sadly missed. When I think of Helen I think of an amazingly exhuberant, clever , resilient and loyal woman whose strength and sense of adventure inspired us all. She was always ready to tackle a challenge and showed no fear as she would resolutely pull on the reins of a bolting horse or career down the slopes of Lake Mountain on her new crosscountry skis straight after her first lesson! How proud we all were of her. She was calm and cheerful no matter what. Above all this she was a wonderful mother , who together with Bruce ,created and raised a beautiful family -full of strength and resilience.
Vale dear Helen. In loving remembrance. Maggie

  2. I was so fortunate to be your next door neighbour for many years. You were like a second mum/sister to me. Rest in peace my beautiful friend, reunited with your beloved Bruce. Glenda

  3. We were very lucky to have Helen as a founding member of the Point Lonsdale View Club’s Lon Bookmarks group. As an avid reader she always read the book of the month and more often than not, twice. In our discussions she happily shared her life’s experiences giving us insights into her early years at Warburton with her father and Bruce in the garage, her time as an air hostess and the move to Maroochydore. She was a joy to us and we will miss her greatly.

  4. Helen, I was so glad to have known you. You were such an interesting person. I appreciated your knowledge of birds, gardens, Caloundra waterways and cooking. Always good having a chat and a cuppa with you. Your orchids are still magnificent. Thanks for being kind to myself and my family. Love and best wishes to your family and friends.
