Dearly loved husband of Lois (for 65 years).  Loving father and father-in-law of Ian & Kym, Graeme & Marianna, Philip & Sonia.

Cherished Pa of Amelia, Aimee & Xander; Jackson & Zachary; Grace & Nic.  Loved brother of Marie, uncle of Fiona.

  1. Charismatic, witty, kind, loyal - a lifelong friend to Mavis and Grant. John had a great sense of humour and it was always a highlight during the many trips we took from Kathmandu to India to Canada. And it all began with a chance meeting in Papua, New Guinea. John, you are missed but we all feel so lucky to have had you in our lives.
