Tributes
Dear Dennis,
Tony and I were so sorry to hear of Rhena's passing. We both have such happy memories of working with you both at Peninsula Players.
Rhena was always so warm and welcoming to newcomers and acting with her and so many others was such a great experience.
I always have in my mind her beautiful speaking voice and the song she loved to sing - "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square".I am so sorry I missed the funeral service.
Lots of love to you Dennis and your family.

Rhena, my Speech Therapist, was always Mrs King, to me. When I was eleven, every week for a year and with a radiant smile, she welcomed me into her home in Clifton Springs to run me through my lessons. ‘How Now Brown Cow’ and ‘Seven silver swans swam silently seaward’. Always kind, encouraging and gentle, she wished nothing but success for me, and all of her students.
For ever grateful. Thank you Mrs King.

Oh Dennis, my sincere condolences on your loss. Rhena was a wonderful woman and a staunch ever-present support. Your perfect partner, Mate. Unfortunately I can’t be at the service to say this to you personally, as I’m conducting a tour of the Geelong Mural. But I will be wearing a splash of green in Rhena’s memory - and I’ll catch up with you next time in Kensington Grange.. Colin Mockett

Dear Rhena, artist extraordinare, welcomed me into the music world on the Bellarine when we met at SpringDale Singers. I enjoyed singing with her in St. Paul's Occasional choir, in St. James choir, for quite a number of years and loved her positive conducting and her generous gorgeous manner in everything she did. What a unique wonderful soul.
