Died peacefully at home, before dawn, on October 21, 2022, with Dick by her side.
Aged 88 years.
Much loved & loving wife of Dick. Mother & mother-in-law of Jenny & Yestin and Meg (dec). Grandma of Piper and Jasmine.
Sadly missed by family and friends, near and far.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service for Mrs Barbara Layton to be held at our Chapel, cnr High & Murradoc Rd, Drysdale on FRIDAY (Oct 28, 2022) at 11 am.

My dear Aunty Barb
So fortunate were we to grow up sharing family time with you. Your calm, kind ways and willingness to really listen was soothing, and you gave of yourself to embrace those around you.
Distance and logistics keep me away today but I will visit Uncle Dick and Jen next month.
Cherishing all the memories, our last family get together and the "phone hugs".

Dearest Barbara
How wonderful it was it meet you and Dick on the Kimberley Cruise back in 2015. Your warmth shone through and we just clicked - how we enjoyed our glasses of Prosecco on the deck each evening, watching the sun set. I am so sorry I did not get to have one more glass with you but I will celebrate our friendship and raise a glass to you and dear Richard. You will be sadly missed.
