Uncle Don was a wonderful uncle that took every chance to spoil his neices. I have a lovely memory of him and aunty Fay taking me and my sister Robyn to the Royal show. I must have been only 5 but he and Aunty Fay bought us nearly every show bag that there was.we had a wonderful day, one I will never forget.

Sorry to hear of Don’s passing. Our condolences to Fay, children and very much loved grandchildren/ great grandchildren.
Alan & I remember the 10 lovely years we spent at “ Goodwin Towers”, Burleigh Heads, QLD, in the company of Don and Fay. The Burleigh Heads Bowling Club was alive with many tall tales and bowling prowess especially when Don was involved. After COVID Don & Fay could not travel to QLD, however, the community spirit to keep us all in touch was very alive.
We were so pleased to visit Don in Drysdale in March 2025 and he and Alan were able to reminisce about many good times had over the years.
Don will be busy organizing the bowling folk and horse racing tipping in the sky.October 30, 2026 2:58 pm
