Loving memories always
We lost a dad with a heart of gold, He meant more to us than wealth untold
God took his hand and we had to part, He eased his pain but broke our hearts
In life he toiled, in heaven he rests, God bless you Dad you were the best.

We met your amazing family on our last days nursing our grandfather, George Spence in room 52 across from Kay. Your families strength inspired us to get through losing George the day after you lost your kind Kay. I wish your family all the strength and peace in your healing process. May he rest in peace. Sending my condolences from the Spence family ❤️

Verna and family - Such a sad loss of a fine gentleman who I had the pleasure of knowing when I resided at Portarlington from 1984 to 1997.
To his children particularly Wayne and Ian , I know how you feel. It is so hard to lose your Father. Take pride in his achievements and love for you all, knowing that he has lived a full life with his extended family and his beloved wife Verna. My thoughts are with you all at this solemn time. All I can further say is rest in peace Kay with the knowledge that your job in life has been very well done. Goodbye mate.April 15, 2026 6:55 am
