1. Dear Anne, I am looking at the first photograph of us together in the garden of my first home in Penrhiwceiber when we were just tinies….you with your beautiful blonde hair and me with my very dark hair, such a contrast. We were first cousins, my father and your mother, brother and sister. We spent such a lot of time together as we grew up, both in wales and in Portland, holidays, family gatherings,playing with my tortoise. The last photograph I have of us together is at Lorrie and Ron’s wedding at St Winifred’s Church when we were teenagers. And then we went our separate ways you to your hairdressing career and eventually to Australia, and me to teacher training college, London and eventually back home to Wales and my much loved to be husband. It is so lovely to be in touch with Jenny now and to be able to send my condolences to her, Frances and Peter. Love and friendship is never lost.I’ll remember you always. Sleep well…… MARILYN.X

2. Dearest Anne your smile was delightful and so wonderful, it gave pleasure to everyone. You were my cousin that I lost for sixty years and found again. I have so many happy memories of our time together in Burton-upon-Trent and Portland. Rosalind and I enjoyed visiting you and David in Port Arlington. Rest in Peace and join the Angels XXXXXXX

3. We will always remember Anne with deep affection as a sweet, caring and loving person, so proud of her family and the grandchildren she shared with us. Gone way too soon, but never forgotten. 9. I was very saddened to hear of Anne's passing. She was my favourite sister and my memories of her go back to our childhood. She was kind and gentle in all she did. Anne will be greatly missed and memories of her will stay with me for the rest of my life.

10. Dear auntie Anne, sorry I couldn’t travel to see you but I’m pleased I got to see you and speak to you and mum and Lawrence were able to comfort you in your final days. Thank you for taking care of me while I travelled in Australia, it was lovely spending time with you and David and I’m eternally grateful for your hospitality.
