To Dear Uncle Des thanks for opening your heart and life to a niece you didn't really remember. I found out that you were a bit cheeky and sometimes not sure if you were serious or not! You made us laugh. Loved the piano piece you played for us that certainly showed us where your passion was in playing those ivory keys. Also your amazing larger phone instrument you hand made and gave us a great demonstration of you playing it nearly had us marching to the beat! You gave me your Bible from the early war days and I will treasure it as a thoughtful gift from you. Thank you for your fun and friendly times and outings where you had your favorite Fish n Chips at the Clifton Springs Golf course. These are our good memories. I don't know if there will be a reason to visit Melbourne Geelong area now that you have graduated! Until we meet again much love and kind thoughts forever. Love from Christine niece

Miss ya already, thanks for letting us share some good memories with you these last few years. Sad we couldn't be there for you on your last days, rest in peace.
